He’s finally coming to NORTH AMERICA! It’s the one and only TK from Ling tosite sigure, kicking off his first-ever live trek across this part of the world. Celebrating 15 years of his solo project, the “unravel,” “first death,” and “katharsis” hitmaker is down to serve all the hits, deep cuts, fan favorites, and memorable career highlights as he marks this milestone in his career — 15 years and his first tour outside of Asia. Recently, he’s also made waves through his newer material — songs like “Tagatame,” “UN-APEX,” and “Whose World? Whose Blue?” So, get ready to rock out like never before as he shares his intense and atmospheric rock nights over here. 

TORU KITAJIMA - THE LEGEND’S JOURNEY

Born in 1982, Toru Kitajima grew up with a heart beating for rock music. He rose to fame as the lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter of the rock band Ling Tosite Sigure which was formed in 2002. The band’s biggest hits as a three-piece group include “Enigmatic Feeling,” “Telecastic fake show,” “I was music,” “DISCO FLIGHT,” and more. In 2011, he started releasing his solo work as TK from Ling Tosite Sigure (TK from 凛として時雨). Of course, he’s been serving up hard-hitting rock anthems known to be cinematic and diverse in sounds.

His solo material includes his hit single “Unravel,” which became the opening theme of the highly-popular anime series "Tokyo Ghoul.” As he approaches the 15th anniversary of his solo career, TK has embraced a darker & deeper sound with an electronic flair, switching up his atmospheric rock masterpieces.

Talking about the difference of being in a band and his solo work, “There's greater instrumental variety, though the core remains the same. There's something cathartic about it, too. That's different,” TK shared with Crunchyroll, emphasizing how he’s able to put out material with a distinct sound from his collaborative work with Miyoko and Nakano from the band.

“I'm always writing with fresh feelings, which feels like a healthy way to do it. For me, everything is connected,” TK shared about his songwriting. Whether he’s crafting his solo material or collaborating with his band, it all stems from his heart, connected.
