War All The Time spawned two singles, “For the Workforce, Drowning” and “Signals Over the Air.” Both songs made their way into the U.K. chart, while the latter peaked at number 30 in the U.S. Alternative Songs chart. In an interview, Thursday stated the reason for extending the tour. “People traveled from numerous states, cities, and countries to join us, and we were continually asked the same question – please come to (insert city name here) with War All The Time,” the band mentioned in a statement. “If we did it, we knew it had to be special, so we thought back to 2001 when we toured with Rival Schools, and then we thought back to 2012 when we toured with Keith Buckley, and then we thought forward to 2024.”
For their setlist during the 20th anniversary’s first leg, Thursday performed several hits from the album, including “From the Workforce Drowning,” “Marches and Maneuvers,” and “Signals Over the Air.” The performances also included songs from their debut album, Full Collapse, and their latest albums, Common Existence and No Devolucion.
The tour will also feature special guests Rival Schools and Keith Buckley’s new band, Many Eyes.
