But trust, we’ve got the perfect mid-February fix for you and your crew who love the idea of rocking out on the beach at the North Caro’ Outer Banks. Because come Thursday, February 19th, The Runarounds, our favorite little rock stars from the Netflix screen, hit the stage and are pulling up to Irving Plaza for not one but TWO nights of total chaos, big smiles, and music magic that’s gonna feel just like a movie. And we already sold out the OG night one - aka our night - so you know we gotta cherish it real hard. It’s the New York stop of their 2026 Minivan Tour, and yeah — it’s exactly what it sounds like: five best friends, a busted-up van, and a dream that turned into one of the most exciting new bands on the come up. Sounds just like Outer Banks, don’t ya agree?!

The group, made up of William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock, and Jesse Golliher, first linked up through their hit Prime Video series The Runarounds, created by the mastermind behind Outer Banks Jonas Pate. But unlike your average TV band, these guys are the real deal. Every riff, every lyric, every breakdown you hear on screen? It’s REALLY them - No Naked Brothers Band vibes here. Their music blends indie rock, surf-pop, and that modern alt energy we’ve all been craving again — like early 2010s Tumblr meets the new wave of guitar kids who actually play their instruments. Since the show dropped last fall, their songs have exploded across streaming platforms, and what started as a soundtrack gig has turned into a full-blown movement.

The Runarounds have spent the last year grinding — playing club shows across L.A., Texas, and the Midwest before announcing this first-ever national headline tour, all while their show just premiered last fall. The Minivan Tour is hitting thirty-plus cities, but non other stop is as iconic as NYC, like duh! Irving Plaza has hosted everyone from Paramore to The Strokes to Arctic Monkeys, and on February 19th, these boys join that legacy.
