The South is coming through to NYC for some trains and legal trees, and we’re about to turn Manhattan into a Texas takeover for the one time real quick for all of us. That’s ‘cause That Mexican OT is bringing his Recess 2025 Tour to Irving Plaza on Thursday, December 19th, and trust us - this show of his a straight-up movement for the ultimate playdate around the country every night on stages from here to L.A. OT has been tearing it down all year long, city after city, but now it’s time for him to hit the East Coast and show New York what that real Texas, that real Mexicano energy feels like. If you’ve been waiting for the moment to scream “Johnny Dang” with the whole room shaking—this is it. And you know the boy - you KNOW OT never rides solo. He’s pulling up with the homies DRODi and RNB.FOEMOB, two Texas-born spitters who bring the same raw energy and Southern grit that’s been fueling this tour across the country. From Oklahoma City to Milwaukee to Pittsburgh, this lineup has been lighting up crowds, and now it’s NYC’s turn. And don’t think New Yorkers are ready for what’s coming—because when the boots hit the stage, it’s gonna be nothing but puro desmadre from the jump.

SO - let’s get in tune. That Mexican OT got his start straight out of high school in South Texas back in 2020, and since then he’s been a shooting star of the Lone Star state. And now - tours, Genius recap videos of his lyrics and screaming fans who know every word of his songs. And man - the setlist? You can count on the classics—“Cowboy Killer,” “Kick Doe Click,” and of course the national anthem of the OT army, “Johnny Dang.” But it ain’t just about the hits. This is about the whole vibe: the cowboy hats, the corridos in the parking lot, the southern drawl echoing off the Irving Plaza walls, and the pride of seeing a Mexican from Bay City, Texas, packing out rooms from coast to coast.
