Smallpools and Grayscale announced 2024 co-headlining tour dates. Officially dubbed as The Night Shift Tour, new concerts are set from early April into May at venues across North America.
The band first made waves in the music scene with their hit track "Dreaming," earning widespread acclaim and gaining traction on alternative radio stations across the nation. Their journey to recognition includes numerous appearances on late-night television shows and touring alongside renowned artists like Twenty One Pilots, Walk the Moon, Grouplove, and Two Door Cinema Club.
Building on their early success, Smallpools dropped their debut album, aptly titled "LOVETAP!" Continuing their musical journey, the band's latest offering is the alternative single "Night Shift," accompanied by an official music video. It's the next chapter in their evolving sound, showcasing their commitment to delivering fresh and engaging music experiences.
“Sometimes we get stuck i
n a routine that we can’t break out of. The nightshift provides a comfortable anonymity, but we wanna find more. Will we bring to life a dream that still lingers within or remain in this loop that is the nightshift,” elaborates Smallpools about the album.
Meanwhile, co-headliner Grayscale is an alternative rock band who dropped their new single, “Not Afraid To Die”. The band’s first release since 2021’s Umbra, “Not Afraid To Die” is a synth-fueled track that puts fear into perspective – beneath a soaring and vibrant exterior. With this new single, Grayscale feels more authentic than ever. The band has been developing and refining their sound for the past couple of years, going deeper than before, and this track demonstrates the attention to detail in their work. The lyrics of "Not Afraid To Die" capture a lot of the unwavering and unrepentant character of Philadelphia families.
“It’s a song about mine and my band mates’ upbringing in the northeast. It’s sort of a celebration of our ruggedness and ridiculousness, I suppose,” said Collin Walsh, the band’s lead vocalist.
