Pop punk legends Set It Off are gearing up for yet another smashing tour across the US and Canada. The tour, aptly named Set It Off: The Self Titled Tour, is set to kick off this October with a show in Atlanta, Georgia, but it’s their show in NYC you really need to look out for. They’ll be playing at the one and only Irving Plaza in the Big City on Friday December 5th, so don’t miss it! See you then!
Set It Off got their start with the help of All Time Low, a figurehead within the emo genre at the time, so to say they have deep ties within the scene is an understatement. Although this may be true, the band has strayed away from being exclusively pop punk in recent years, with their music leaning into newer influences. But now, Set It Off are teasing fans with the hint that their upcoming self titled album might just head right back to where it all started. Ever since the beginning, Set It Off has been for the people who now say “It was never a phase!” they started out performing for crowds at pop punk legends All Time Low’s gigs, and from there, they went on to perform regularly at Warped Tour, one of the biggest annual travelling festivals within the alt scene. Even when their music grew to include wider influences such as R&B and hip hop as time went on, their fans' love for their music never wavered. Still, when Set It Off revealed earlier this year that their upcoming self-titled album would see the band returning to their pop punk roots, it made the November 2025 release date feel even farther away.
Whether you prefer Set It Off’s earlier work that leaned into the emo and post-hardcore side of rock music that was popular at the time, or their newer work that features elements of hip hop and pop, their upcoming self-titled album is sure to please. The album is set to release this November, just weeks into their upcoming headlining tour, Set It Off: The Self Titled Tour, which kicks off on October 28th with a show in Atlanta, but you can be sure to catch them when they hit the stage at Irving Plaza in NYC this December.
