It seemed so long ago that Minus the Bear was bidding farewell to fans on their last tour in 2018. It was not an easy period for longtime listeners of the highly influential indie rock outfit but the tour was an immense success. The trek also featured their latest album Voids which consequently made it into the top 20 of the Indie and Alternative charts. This 2025, the band makes their grand reunion after seven years of hiatus. Minus the Bear celebrates their sophomore album Menos El Oso. A brilliant body of work that helped them achieve their breakthrough two decades ago. Menos El Oso charted at number 20 on the Heatseekers and entered the top 50 of the indie charts. It was a sign for the band’s growing traction and growing fanbase.

ABOUT MINUS THE BEAR
Emerging from Seattle in 2001, Minus the Bear came out and released their debut EP This is What I Know About Being Gigantic. The band has continuously released their music through Seattle based indie label, Suicide Squeeze Records up until 2010 when they moved to Los Angeles based Dangerbird Records to release their fourth and fifth albums Omni and Infinity. By 2017, Minus the Bear released their latest album Voids. The band became one of the most influential figures in the indie rock circuit due to their highly experimental nature. The band brings a plethora of music styles including alternative and prog. In 2018, the band announced their farewell tour performing their latest show in Seattle in December. This 2025, the band will reunite for the first time in seven years for their Menos El Oso Tour.
