We are truly in for a night to remember here at Irving Plaza this August as we reminisce about the good ‘ole days. Located right in the heart of Union Square and known for bringing some of the boldest, most unique artists to New York’s live music scene, Irving Plaza is so excited to welcome DJ GALLIXC to the stage on August 8th for a show unlike anything else you’ll catch this season. This isn’t just a set — it’s LIMEWIRED, a full-throttle 2000s-themed dance party that’s sweeping the country and selling out venues as it revives the sounds of a legendary era of music that we will absolutely never get back. The show has already hit iconic venues like House of Blues Orlando, the Majestic in Detroit, and LA’s Vermont Hollywood — and now it’s our turn NYC. Expect a setlist built for losing your voice to Avril and Ashlee, dancing your heart out to Sean Paul and Nelly Furtado, and maybe even crying to a sneaky Evanescence drop. There’ll be visuals, lights, maybe even flip phones and shutter shades — because DJ GALLIXC isn’t just spinning tracks, he’s resurrecting a feeling inside of us all. He’s bringing the fire - and now, all we need is you!

DJ GALLIXC, the mastermind behind the LIMEWIRED movement, is the kind of DJ who doesn’t just play music — he curates memories from memories. A champion of the digital-era underground, Gallixc built his following from basement parties and LimeWire playlists to massive club residencies and high-energy sets across the U.S. The concept behind LIMEWIRED is pure early-internet nostalgia: throwback hits, MySpace-era anthems, Hot Topic pop-punk bangers, ringtone rap classics, bloghouse gold, and the kind of mashups you used to burn to a CD with a sharpie-scrawled title like “SUMMER 2005” type vibe. It’s Y2K energy at its finest — and it’s coming straight for us here at the Plaza real real soon.
