This summer a whole lot of punk is coming to NYC when the idobi Radio Summer School Tour unleashes a maelstrom of chaos upon the unsuspecting citizens of the great city, as four of the most aggressive acts in punk rock today take to the stage at Irving Plaza on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026. The idobi Radio Summer School Tour is fast becoming one of the premier punk festivals of the year, bringing together a mishmash of punk’s hottest and most antagonistic acts.
There is also a big array of new bands and solo artists to be announced soon, and we can reveal today that headlining the event will be pop rock trio Honey Revenge, with songs from their 2013 album Retrovision. Also on the bill will be pop rock trio Games We Play, run by Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, and who have been playing music together since 2017, with their current lineup releasing songs from their 2025 album If I’m Honest. Indie punk trio Winona Fighter, based in Nashville, Tennessee, will also be playing at the event, bringing their noise driven punk, and performing new songs from their album My Apologies to the Chef.
The latter half of the bill will feature music from Chase Petra, South Arcade and opener Chase Petra.

The idobi Radio Summer School Tour, featuring a handful of punk up-and-comers, hits Irving Plaza this Wednesday, 1st July 2026. Doors are open at 5:00 PM. Headliners Honey Revenge will be joined by Games We Play, Winona Fighter, Chase Petra and South Arcade on the bill. Honey Revenge is a pop rock duo from Los Angeles, California formed in 2021 by lead vocalist Devin Papadol and guitarist Donny Lloyd. The duo describe their anthem-driven pop rock sound with catchy choruses and distortion as “Roms & Rams oppose each other in a relation called attraction. That’s what we create as music.” The band have just released their sophomore record Retrovision which features the catchy new single “Risk”.
Emo Pop Trio Games We Play specialize in crafting infectious pop punk anthems, that are riddled with relatable lyrics. Members Emmyn Calleiro, Kyle Fink and Nick Lewert released their new music project “If I’m Honest” in 2025. Having transitioned into becoming a memorable live band, Trio Games We Play are taking the music world by storm with anthems such as “Petty Enemy”, “Summer Clothes”, “Get A Job” & “Hey Ben” all focusing on reaching for dreams and aspirations.
Winona Fighter is a punk rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. Their music blends together the best of aggressive punk with the catchiest of hooks. The band is fronted by lead singer Coco Kinnon and features guitar work from Dan Fuson and bass and production from Austin Luther. The band’s debut LP “My Apologies to the Chef” was released on Valentine’s Day 2025.
Long Beach, California band Chase Petra was formed in 2017 by a group of high school friends (Hunter Allen and Evan Schaid, Genevieve Quiquivix and drummer Brooke Dickson) and just so happen to have released their new album Lullabies for Dogs in 2025, tackling themes of growing up and rebelling against the expectations of others. If you like Chase Petra, be sure to check out “Famous”, “We Were Friends”, and “Centrifugal Force”.
High school rockers South Arcade, from Oxford, England, were formed in 2021 and went viral with a series of band practice videos. The quintet blends nu-metal riffs with pop-punk energy in their heavy tracks such as ‘Supermodels’, ‘2005’ and ‘Blood Run Warm’ that can be found on their latest EP PLAY!
This historic ballroom music venue is located at 17 Irving Pl, New York, NY 10003 in the Union Square area of Manhattan. Irving Plaza features a warm and intimate setting, highlighted by its tin tile ceiling and chandeliers, as well as a state-of-the-art sound system.
