Meet the newest generation of urban music icons on a feisty Friday night as DD Osama lays havoc on New York City with special guest SugarHill Ddot. The rap upstart has been making rounds in several online music circles, the momentum carrying him to the North American road as the opening act for GRAMMY-nominated rap artist Lil Durk. That tour has come and gone, but DD kept on rolling with his own series of live performances. Only five shows remain before year-end, with one set on November 10 here at Union Square's Irving Plaza.

"With the ability to express his thoughts and have them out to the world within days or weeks, he's able to filter them into raw raps and aggressive songs. DD Osama is a reflection of the world he lives in, and that's what makes him so appealing to New York City and the rest of the world."

DD Osama's story is a tragic one. Our headliner originally performed alongside his younger brother, Notti Osama, until a violent altercation took the latter's life in July last year. But despite this terrible loss, DD found an inner strength that lit the path for other aspiring artists. Today, the teenage drill rapper from the boroughs of Harlem takes his pain and grief and turns them into soul-piercing music in honor of his brother's memory.

Among the singer’s overnight hits are "Without You," "Dead Opps," and "Throw" feat. Lil Mabu. His YouTube account, where he launches most of his work, has amassed nearly 200M streams. Notably, DD’s music video for the riveting "40s N 9s" track has earned 10M views.

Osama's close friend and opening act, SugarHill Ddot, is a fifteen-year-old hip-hop artist made viral by his beats "Stop Cappin" and "Real Facts." His established following pushed his total YouTube streams to over 50M, with his "I Wanna Love You" music video hitting 800K.

Irving Plaza, powered by Verizon 5G, will serve its stage to DD Osama and Sugarhill Ddot on Friday, November 10. The modestly sized music hall projects an intimate air that can switch to a high-adrenaline rush at the flick of a riff. It can also hold 1,200 guests simultaneously, indulging them with dynamic lights and prime acoustic clarity. Get your tickets now by hitting the blue button above!
