Former Disney superstar Coco Jones is now hitting the road to promote her brand new album, What I Didn’t Tell You. The latest effort is her first record to be published under Def Jam Recordings. Kicking off in August, the tour will send the R&B and pop artists to 16 major cities, including a coveted stop in New York City. Fans who will be attending her highly-anticipated summer tour can look forward to a healthy amount of tracks from her latest album, as well as fan favorites from her earlier releases.
The sensational singer/actress has been self-releasing her music since 2010. That year, she released her self-titled debut album. In 2013, she made her major label debut with Made Of, an album that was released under Hollywood Records. Peaking at number 10 on Billboard’s Heatseekers, the album spawned three singles, “Holla at the Dj,” “Deja Vu,” and “World is Dancing.” After dropping her sophomore effort, Coco Jones continued to release non-album singles, such as “Glitter” featuring Katie Armiger,” “Peppermint,” “Let ‘em Know,” and more.
By 2017, Jones had signed with Future Mix to release her third album, Let Me Check It, followed by the self-released H.D.W.Y. two years later. H.D.W.Y. spawned two hits singles, “Just My Luck” and “Depressed,” receiving wide acclaim from fans and critics. All this time, while Jones was releasing exemplary music, she continued to star in various TV series and films, including Flock of Flour, Vampires vs. the Bronx, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
In 2022, Jones’s music career took a big turn when she signed with Def Jam Recordings. Her latest album, What I Dind’t Tell You, released the lead single, “Caliber.” Followed by her most successful single, “ICU.” The song entered the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number 16 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. “ICU” enjoyed a massive amount of streams leading to a gold certification in the U.S. After the stellar success of the album’s second single, Jones dropped “Double Back” earlier this year.
