25th Anniversary: The Errors Tour

The kids from Queens have certainly come a long way since sending that now-famous tape of their music to "New Found Glory." If you're a punk rock kid from the 2000s, you might be thinking we're not at the official 25-year mark from the making of "Bayside," the album. You'd be right, but it was in 2000 when Anthony Raneri got together with a group of friends to send that first mixtape. Maybe in 5 years, they will do another 25-year anniversary tour to celebrate when Nick and Jack came along and we got their flagship album! In any case, it's a homecoming with plenty of talent on the undercard, thanks to the fact that The Sleeping is also providing two unique sets to open the shows. If you're looking for a punk-rock fest, you've just found one. 

Why See Bayside 2 Days in a Row? 

When you get the same headliner for 2 days straight, this is a fair question. Here's the deal with this anniversary celebration from Bayside. The way they're setting up, you're going to have a chance to experience tracks from specific albums on one day, then you'll get songs from other releases on the next. If you're a fan of "Bayside," the 2005 flagship record from the band, Friday is the day you'll have a chance to hear songs from that album. However, you'd have to come out on Saturday for songs from their more emo side in the album, "There Are Worse Things Than Being Alive."

Claim a Spot at Irving Plaza 

If you like the punk rock vibe, but could do without the pushing and shoving on the main floor, then make sure you get tickets to The Loft or the HighRise. Otherwise, you're going to need to arrive at Irving Plaza early on both days to make sure that you can claim those spots in the middle of the venue next to the stage for the true rock concert experience.
