ABOUT AKIRA YAMAOKA

World renowned music producer, composer, and guitarist Akira Yamaoka spent more than a decade of his career creating music for Konami’s most popular games, including Silent Hill. Yamaoka also composed the soundtrack for the game's three film adaptations. Yamaoka has also worked as a sound director for Grasshopper Manufacture, a Japanese video game creator known for kill7 and No More Heroes series. In 2018, Yamaoka served as music director and sound designer for Supertrick Games. Yamaoka has completed world tours performing ambient rock. He has also performed with orchestras and collaborated with notable musicans including Mary Elizbeht McGlynn and Troy Baker.
