Experience the biggest night of the year this June as the pioneering Canadian metal band Kittie celebrate 30 Years of Kittie North America 2026 with a show at Irving Plaza on Tuesday, June 23rd. The sisters, Morgan and Mercedes Lander, will be performing on the tour supporting their 2024 release Fire as well as playing key tracks such as their important hit Brackish. The release of Fire saw the sisters deliver their most top shelf heavy metal to date, and cement their place as leaders of the charge of all-female metal acts performing to crowds of millions around the world, with the sisters having themselves sold over two million albums worldwide.
The Canadian metal legends have managed to sell over 2 million albums worldwide. All-female metal bands are taking over and Kittie are among the best. Opening up the evening of hard hitting song will be metalcore outfit Kingdom of Giants and brutal Gore.

An EPIC evening of Metal at Irving Plaza in New York on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, when the famous Canadian metal outfit Kittie celebrates 30 years of ferocious metal with a show featuring many other Metal acts. Kingdom of Giants and Gore will open up the night of Metal for Kittie.
Kittie: Formed in 1996 by sisters, Morgan and Mercedes Lander, from London, Ontario. This band of female rockers can play Nu-Metal, Groove Metal, Death Metal and/or Alternative Metal. Their 1999 release Spit earned a gold selling record, due in part to their hit single “Brackish.” Kittie has since gone on to sell over two million albums world-wide. The band was co-headliners of OzzFest and took a hiatus for several years before returning to sold out crowds of fans old and new. Kittie released their latest album, Fire, in 2024.
Kingdom of Giants will kick off the show with their metalcore sound. They play a unique take on metalcore that is sure to resonate with the fans attending the show. The songs are a perfect blend of powerful technical guitar playing and loud, yet emotional vocals.
Gore, bringing their own style of unrelenting aggression to fans of heavy music. The show will be kicking off at 6:30PM, opening up with Kingdom of Giants, followed by Gore, with Kittie closing out the night for what is sure to be an ultimate night of heavy music.
Irving Plaza is located at 17 Irving Place in Manhattan’s Union Square area. The venue is 150 years old this year and was the site of many cultural performances including theater productions. The theater was built in 1860 and converted to a live music venue in 1978. The club is a small space, approximately 1,100-1,200 square feet. The entire venue is General Admission, Standing Room Only, with a few couches throughout the space that can be used to take a break from the action of the show.
