Irving Plaza is one of those places where concerts and time with our friends become once in a lifetime moments on any given weekend. This place was made for blared out speakers and bass that leaves us speechless - so you KNOW what that means: a whole ‘nother night of sweating and heavy dancing here at the best place to be in the city. So that’s why we’re SUPER happy to have Currents and Erra hitting the stage on Saturday March 21st when they pull up for their joint tour - titled The Silence Follows - for all of us right here in the middle of the city where the stage lights will look so pretty. Two of the most respected names in modern metalcore are joining forces for a massive co-headline run for all of 2026, and NYC landed a front-row seat to all the mandess, duh. This stop on The Silence FTour brings together two bands who have helped define what heavy music sounds like right now. It's emotional, technical, punishing, and beautifully melodic all at once. It’s not just a tour stop; it’s a collision of worlds built on precision riffs, crushing breakdowns, and lyrics that hit a little too close to home. With additional support setting the tone early, this lineup is stacked wall-to-wall with intensity. So if you don’t know about the bands yet - listen up! 

Currents have spent the last decade carving out their lane with a sound that balances raw aggression and deep emotional weight. Rising out of Connecticut, they’ve built a fiercely loyal fanbase through records that don’t pull punches - songs that wrestle with their own inner demons and help us understand our. Along with mental health, and resilience, all wrapped in massive riffs and gut-punch vocals. And hen there’s ERRA. The masters of the progressive metalcore craft. Known for their intricate guitar work, atmospheric layers, and razor-sharp execution, ERRA bring a sense of scale and precision that turns every set into an experience. Their music moves effortlessly between brutal and beautiful, technical and emotional, and seeing it unfold live in a room like Irving Plaza is something special.
