BENEE is stepping into the spotlight as she heads over to North America for a headlining tour in support of her new album “Ur an Angel I’m Just Particles.” Get ready for a wild night packed with her hits & new music that’ll get your heart beating up. Just as the “Supalonely” hitmaker cranks it up, you’re down to get up, sing along, and jam along to her sweet indie pop and R&B bangers. With a distinct voice that’s light yet bold, it sure is clear why she’s one of the most recognizable breakout artists who took over TikTok and YouTube feeds back in 2019. Now, she’s proved that she’s a strong force among a new generation of music stars.
Stella Rose Bennett, or better known as “Benee,” hails from Auckland, New Zealand. Growing up in a musical family, her parents frequently exposed her to the legendary songbooks of Radiohead, Groove Armada, and Björk. At the age of eight, she started taking guitar lessons, and later learned the saxophone in high school. Briefly focusing on water polo, she later went back to music when she turned 17. From SoundCloud uploads to TikTok fyp domination, her journey is truly amazing. She started gaining local attention in NZ with her singles “Glitter” and “Soaked,” before the world got hooked on “Supalonely.” In November 2020, she released her debut album “Hey U X.” This time, we finally have her sophomore record “Ur an Angel I’m Just Particles,” out five years later.
Her new album has been long awaited by her loyal fans. Even casual listeners were surprised to see that it’s finally here. Known for her bold vocal performances and lyrical tales that strike hearts, Benee’s new album is definitely hits hard. Breaking down the record through a universe of particles — everything broken down to the molecule and united back up.
“I developed the story of obsession, breakdown, chaos, and ascent, which are the four chapters of the record,” Benee shared with Atwood Magazine.
Witness the singer reconstruct it all back up as she brings the record to the big stage. Her last North American tour took place back in 2022, so it’s been a long time coming. Benee herself is just as excited as you are.
The famed entertainment is ready to host a big night for Benee’s new era. The ballroom-style hall is surely gonna play a significant role in the vibes — cranking the energy up as it becomes a communal gathering of fans over great music. The historical venue packs state-of-the-art equipment to go along with the times, ensuring that every show runs smoothly. With top-notch acoustics, it’s definitely one of the nation’s best venues for shows that are intimate yet packed with energy.
