DHC's comeback tour won't dissapoint. Whether you've been a fan or a new sucker for classic dance grooves, everyone's welcome to party with the gang.

History of DHC

Dance Hall Crashers was originally formed in Berkeley, California back in '89. The ska punk band  was originally founded by Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman of Operation Ivy with their most recent lineup including vocalists Elyse Rogers and Karina Deniké, Jason Hammon and Gavin Hammon on guitars and rums, Mikey Weiss on bass, and recording engineer Jon Graber who also offered guitars on some songs in their recent 2025 comeback. With four studio LPs to their name, the band is highly praised for their sick groove and high-energy shows.

Looking at their colorful journey in music, it's amazing how DHC became the strong dance music force it is today. Their debut album was a hit, largely through word-of-mouth even when the band disbanded at the time. In 1991, DHC reunited at the undergound nightclub Slim's with a sold-out show. With much demand from fans, the band kept reuniting for performances, and soon began touring nationwide.

Following lineup changes, a record deal, and a new album, DHC revolutionized their sound - that fans became even more hooked. Their catalog of hits like "Lady Luck", "Enough", "He Wants Me Back", "Lost Again", "Mr. Blue", "All Mine", "Lost Again", took over clubs and parties in the best way possible. Through the mid and late '90s, the band toured extensively and opened for big names like Bad Religion and The Lemons, alongside festival appearances at the Warped Tour and Lilith Fair.

By the 2000s, the band went on a hiatus as members focused on other matters and played less frequently. However, 2025 marked the end of a 21-year hiatus with a performance at the Vans Warped Tour in DC.

"On tour with NOFX, everywhere I went, people were coming out of the woodwork to tell me they were fans," Denike, or Karina of DHC told KQED in an interview. "So I’ve been feeding that back to the rest of the band. Like, you guys, this is not just a couple people. There is a lot of interest."

It's interesting to know that these fans are pretty young to have ever seen a DHC show in their heydays. Long awaited by many, they're finally heading out for a couple of reunion shows with special guest Hepcat.

So, get ready for a wild & nostalgic ride as DHC unleashes their legendary tracks back on stage. Get ready to sing out loud, shout, and dance like never before. Don't miss out by booking your tickets now!
