Starting from humble beginnings, TesseracT emerged in 2003 in a bedroom in Milton Keynes, England. Initially a solo instrumental project written, recorded and produced by Acle Kahney, TesseracT is now a full fledged band carving up a unique sound. Credited as one of the bands to pioneer the djent movement in progressive metal, TesseracT is now comprised of: Daniel Tompkins (lead vocals), Alec "Acle" Kahney (lead guitar and producer), James Monteith (rhythm guitar), Amos Williams (bass, backing vocals) and Jay Postones (drums, percussion).

So far, the legends have released four studio albums: One, Altered State, Polaris and Sonder that went down an absolute treat, and now they’re bringing their fans even more with their forthcoming conceptual, dynamic and sonically complex album. War of Being will be the TesseracT’s first new album in five years. “The story revolves around an inter-dimensional journey undertaken by two characters (ex and el), within The Strangeland, a world made to reflect the socio-economic state of our own. Throughout its hour-long run time, the band treat listeners to sprawling atmospherics, impassioned vocal performances from Daniel Tompkins and atom bomb level heavy riffs.” - TesseracT
