Directions to Irving Plaza

Being in the center of Manhattan Irving Plaza is surrounded by paid public parking lots. We recommend arriving via public transport as that’s always the best way to get around in New York, but if you are arriving by car please check out the parking information page for more details.

When driving from the north take FDR Drive to exit 36.

For those driving from the south, take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to exit 3. Then take 3rd Avenue to 15th Street. Turn right onto 15th Street and Irving Plaza will be on your left, just past the intersection of 15th Street and 4th Avenue.

Public Transportation:

Subway

When opting for public transit, on the subway, take either the L, N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, or 6 trains to 14th

Street-Union Square station.

The 14th Street-Union Square station is a central transportation hub, so you will have no problem finding a train to get there. 14th Street-Union Square has good access to subway, bus, and commuter rail lines.

The exit for the 14th Street subway station is between 4th and 5th Avenues on the south side of the street. When walking out of the station turn left onto 14th Street. Irving Plaza will be on the left just past the intersection of 14th Street and 4th Avenue.

Bus

When traveling on the bus, take the M14 bus to Union Square. The M14 bus route runs along 14th Street and is a convenient way to get to Irving Plaza. The closest bus stop for Union Square is on the east side of the Street and sits between 5th and 6th Avenues. Irving Plaza is located across the street on the west side and is a bit north of Union Square.

Commuter Rail

When taking the train to an Irving Plaza event, you should take the Metro-North Railroad to Grand Central Terminal. The Metro-North Railroad is a commuter rail line serving the New York City metro area. Grand Central Terminal is a major transportation hub. After you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, take the 4, 5, or 6 train to 14th Street-Union Square station.
